Hi, I’m Amber, the owner of Bishopton Paws!

I’m a local dog walker and pet care professional based in Bishopton, offering reliable, personalised care for dogs across Bishopton, Dargavel, and other areas across Renfrewshire.

My background is rooted in animal care and veterinary practice. I’ve worked as a Veterinary Care Assistant with Vets Now in emergency settings, as well as in Veterinary Receptionist roles in both emergency and routine clinics. Alongside this, I’ve previously volunteered as a dog walker with the SSPCA and I hold a BSc (Hons) degree in Veterinary Biosciences.

This experience means I’m confident handling a wide range of dogs and situations. I’m comfortable supporting dogs with medical needs, including administering medication when required. Just as importantly, I understand how reassuring clear communication is for pet owners, so every walk or visit includes photo and written updates.

At Bishopton Paws, I focus on calm handling, safety, and building genuine relationships with both dogs and their people. I keep group walks small to ensure each dog gets the attention they deserve, and I tailor care to suit individual personalities, routines, and needs.
